I would like to welcome everyone to the newly-restored Universalis. After many years of being forgotten, I now have the opportunity to bring about a better manifestation of my original concept. As a space faring micronation Universalis differs greatly from the normal run-of-the-mill micronations, which tend to gravitate towards historical themes, such as the Roman Empire, Victorian Britain, Imperial Russia, so on and so forth. Here, however, we gravitate towards future settings and hypothetical scenarios, fleshing them out in active emulation. The difference? Not much. You can emulate the past with more accuracy, but there is still a certain amount of error involved. Given the type of technocratic administration Universalis has, our emulation can also minimize error based on careful preparation and forethought.
Thus I encourage anyone with an interest in science fiction, space exploration, astronomy, technology, humanitarianism, or if you think you can bring something new here, please join this project and help make it better. Ideas, even when in opposition, can make advancement blossom.
So again, welcome to Universalis, feel free to ask questions, and I sincerely hope you enjoy what you find here.
