Perhaps we should have a little chat to Andreas the Wise or Bayen ( novatainia.org/Gralus/phpBB3/index.php) about making a compatibility between military forces for recwarring. We have just started work on GROWL (Gralun Recwarring) and input from a sci-fi style nation would be great! |

Yes, I'm certainly all for standardization so we can all have a common military platform for recwarring.
The inherent problem with being a sci-fi nation is that you have to develop military units that won't "god-mod" in a recwar simply due to the mechanics of sci-fi.

Therein lies the beauty of GROWL!
GROWL puts in an incremental points cost, anything with shields too go for an ICMB to blow a hole in would be too expensive to buy! People are buying Gundams, Dr Who stuff, Stargate stuff, stuff that isn't copywritten, etc.

We had Genetically engineered Man-Bear-(notpig)s fighting against a giant robot that was worth a whole Orbat while great magi hurled Armageddon upon them from the backs of mighty dragons... good times...
