The Demon of Fides walked in; "I'm home!" He fell upon the ground weeping. "THIS IS THE BEST PLACE IN THE WHOLE OF MICRAS!" As soon as he noticed everyone staring at him; he withdrew a scroll and announced: [glow=red,2,300]Greetings from Nelaga, We are one of the newest nations on Micras, but have one of the oldest heritages. Our origins stem from the Flying Islands of Jasonia back when the MCS was founded, and it is our delight to announce that those islands will soon be flying once again. Like Jasonia, we are a peace-loving nation holding closely to the ideal of democracy and freedom. On Saturday the 21st of March our islands will be lifted into the sky, and this will be an occasion of such joy within our country that we have decided to open it up to the rest of the world. We extend the hand of friendship to you as a fellow nation on Micras, and invite you to a lifting party, to celebrate our ascension to the skies. We hope to see you there and that, working together, we can make Micras a happier and better place for all. Sincerely, The Flying Islands of Nelaga[/glow] Also; I'd like to apply for citizenship (though I'll do that in another forum "

Cheers. I originally cited interest in establishing a treaty with Nelaga a while back, when it was first (re)founded. I can't seem to remember what came of that. Hopefully it's still on the table to establish such a treaty.

I'm sure we can come to some sort of agreement... The people of Nelaga are simply lovely, and want all the allies they can get. C'mon over!

I proposed a treaty in December but it seems to have been forgotten. I've bumped the thread back up in the diplomacy forum so hopefully it'll get noticed.

Well, Harvey did seem in favor of an alliance and/or peace treaty back when we first began negotiations, so I don't think it would cause much of a problem to proceed with that in mind. In any event it's merely a formality since we're already on good terms.
