With the collapse of central authority over the Imperial Mercenary Empire, Universalis' Willow Base, which is located adjacent to said merc territory, has come under threat. As such it has been deemed necessary to enforce direct control over all mercenary territory and to do so through the use of military force. Typically this would not be the case, but given the circumstances, we do not wish to have another foreign power step in and again isolate and threaten our Willow Base.
Due course and process will be followed in this expansion, and recwar practices will be adhered to under the rules of the Anunia Convention.
A dispatch of 5000 soldiers accompanied by an naval outfit have been ordered from New Montauk to Willow Base so that they can undertake these actions and relieve our small defense force currently garrisoning the base. More details will follow.
