I am pleased to announce that a peace treaty has been signed between Universalis and Stormark. The text is below:
Treaty of Huygens
Between
The Technocracy of Universalis
And
The Viking Empire of Stormark
Whereas our two nations share a common desire to remain friends in perpetuity,
The nations of the Technocracy of Universalis and the Viking Empire of Stormark hereby enter into a state of mutual friendship and cooperation under the following conditions:
1. Both signing parties recognize and support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the other.
2. Each party will support the other in their endeavors to promote diplomacy, trade, and interaction between our respective populations.
3. Citizens of each party shall enjoy full visitor status within the territory of each party.
4. Neither party shall engage in hostile actions against the other. Furthermore, intelligence pertaining to the security of the other signing party shall be shared.
5. Ports and cities of both parties are to accept vessels and trade from either party without restraint or harassment, unless an obvious threat to security is deemed necessary to detain or otherwise stop such vessels from docking or entering a city.
