Seems we're finally on board with climate change. As far as I'm concerned, it's about freakin' time. I can't count the number of lectures and arguments I've had over global warming, climate change, and the human impact on the environment. I simply cannot stress enough the importance of everyone (especially America) working harder to curb the impact on the environment and strive towards more sustainable ways of living. It's shameful that we didn't sign the Kyoto Protocols, considering it would have cost us a fraction of what we spent on the war in Iraq and Afghanistan to meet those standards.
I just hope Obama keeps the momentum going and that Congress doesn't balk when push comes to shove.
